Seriously. The Fulton County (Ga.) Daily Report recognized the Womble Carlyle Furniture Blog as a winner in its first-ever “Big Law Webbies” contest.

Okay, so the award was for "Most Obscure Blog Topic." Not exactly the Nobel Prize. But we’ll still take it.

We knew when we started this blog that we would have a narrow, highly specific audience. And that’s exactly what we wanted. The readers of this blog are people who follow the furniture industry closely, and those happen to be the clients we serve. We never set out to have the broadest readership on the Web—we just want to provide good, timely information to people for whom legal developments surrounding the furniture industry are very important.

So we would like to take this opportunity to thank our small, but loyal, audience. Maybe we’ll clear out a space on the bookshelf for our new Webbie!

One of 15 Womble Carlyle blogs, the Furniture Law Blog is co-authored by Jack Hicks and Jacob Wharton. To date, more than 20,000 viewers have visited the blog.
