Gregg Skall Discusses Legal Limits of Political Ads with Missouri Newspaper

Womble Carlyle communications attorney Gregg Skall recently spoke with a Missouri newspaper about the boundaries of political advertising and what candidates can and cannot say in broadcast ads. The article, in the Springfield (Mo.) News-Leader ran October 3rd.
Earlier this year, Skall successfully represented the Missouri Broadcasters Association in a dispute with a white supremacist candidate who sought to air racist radio advertisements.
Gregg Skall represents television and radio broadcasters in regulatory dealings with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). He is a recognized writer and frequent speaker on topics of FCC administrative process, mass media, and telecommunications regulation, and has taught Telecommunications Law and Policy at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
