Guanming Fang Participates in International Economic Development Discussion at 2011 NAPABA Convention

ATLANTA—Womble Carlyle attorney Guanming Fang participated in a panel discussion on “International Economic Development: Case Studies Of Cross-Border Investments” at the 2011 National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) Annual Convention.
 
Fang, the leader of Womble Carlyle’s China Practice, was joined in the discussion by Tim Cheatham, Senior Vice President & General Counsel of Walmart International; Ted Gizewski, Senior Attorney at Microsoft Corporation; James Reed, Vice President & Chief Legal Officer at YKK Corporation of America; and Hyun Zu “Yonni” Kim of Arnall Golden Gregory, LLP. Panelists discussed the economic, legal, logistical, and cultural issues their clients or companies have confronted in foreign markets, and the impact that they have had in the regions where they have invested.
 
Womble Carlyle attorneys Brent Clinkscale, Kevin Lyn, Sid Shenoy and Joann Waters, as well as Sales Director Kel Chin, also attended the 2011 NAPABA Annual Convention, which took place Nov. 17-20 in Atlanta. Womble Carlyle was a Gold Sponsor of the convention.
