Hardin Halsey Named American Bar Foundation Fellow

WINSTON-SALEM, NC—Womble Carlyle attorney Hardin Halsey has been inducted as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

The Fellows is an honorary organization of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars who have been elected by their peers to become members of the Fellows. They have demonstrated outstanding achievements and dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession. The Fellows support the research work of the American Bar Foundation through their annual contributions and sponsor seminars and events of direct relevance to leaders of the legal profession.
 
Established in 1955, the Fellows support the research of the American Bar Foundation. Membership in the Fellows is limited to one third of one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Members are nominated by Fellows in their jurisdiction and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation.

Hardin Halsey has a broad range of experience in dealing with troubled loans and loan workouts including foreclosures, receiverships, and lender liability issues. He also has a broad range of transactional experience in real estate transactions including timberland transactions, real estate finance, securitized lending transactions, asset based finance, corporate finance, secured transactions and real estate development. He also has substantial experience in commercial law issues and Uniform Commercial Code law. Halsey is ranked on Woodward/White Inc's The Best Lawyers in America.
