Womble Carlyle Adds Jay Silver, Lisa Dixon, and Dorinda Peacock to Raleigh Office

RALEIGH, N.C.—Veteran Raleigh-area attorneys Jay Silver, Lisa Dixon and Dorinda Peacock have joined Womble Carlyle, effective immediately. Combined, Silver, and Dixon and Peacock have nearly 70 years of experience representing clients in business litigation and corporate & securities matters, respectively.
 
Hayden J. “Jay” Silver III has more than 30 years of experience in commercial and intellectual property litigation. His IP litigation includes representing corporate clients in a wide range of patent, copyright, trademark and licensing disputes, including cases related to software development and trade secrets. He is the former Chair of the Wake Education Partnership.
 
Lisa J. Dixon is a Corporate & Securities attorney with significant transactions experience. Dixon served as acquisition counsel to Carolina Turkeys in its acquisition of the Butterball brand, creating the largest turkey producer in the U.S. Dixon also is experienced in general corporate and commercial real estate transactions law. 
 
Dorinda L. Peacock brings more than a decade of M&A transactions experience to Womble Carlyle’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group. She also advises clients in commercial contract issues. In addition, Peacock is experienced in commercial real estate transactions, including sales, acquisitions and leases. She is a board member of Arts Together, Inc.

All three join Womble Carlyle from Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP, and are practicing in Womble Carlyle’s Raleigh office.
