"I'm honored to be asked to serve with the outstanding attorneys on the North Carolina General Statutes Commission," Adams said. "The Commission is engaged in behind-the-scenes work that is critical to our legal system, and I am proud to assist in this effort."

Adams is an attorney in estate planning, trust and estate administration, business succession planning and charitable gift planning. Before entering private practice, she spent 10 years as a law professor at the Duke University School of Law.
