Jim Kahl was recently appointed to the Legal Section Council of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) & the Center for Association Leadership. ASAE has about 22,000 members, which include association CEOs, staff professionals and industry partners. The Legal Section Council is responsible for outreach and communications to and promoting educational opportunities for ASAE members with respect to legal issues that impact associations.

Kahl will be speaking at the at ASAE & The Center's Annual Association Law Symposium, September 19, Washington, DC. His presentation "Lobbying, Ethics & Campaign Finance Reform: Challenges & Opportunities in an Election Year" will occur in The Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center.
