Womble Carlyle attorney John Garziglia was quoted in a front-page article in the November 23rd edition of Communications Daily.

The article concerns the topic of spectrum repurposing and mobile TV. Garziglia tells the publication that spectrum repurposing still seems “to be not much more than a ‘germ’ of an idea.”

This is the second time this month that Garziglia has been quoted in Communications Daily about developments facing the television and radio broadcast industries. He spoke to the publication about AM/FM repurposing in the November 13th edition.

John F. Garziglia served at the Federal Communications Commission as an attorney in the AM Branch and as a trial attorney in the Hearing Branch of the Mass Media Bureau. Garziglia was formerly a broadcaster, working in the industry in St. Louis, Washington, D.C., and several smaller markets. Garziglia represents many broadcasters large and small with regard to questions that arise in the day-to-day operations of stations. He is a frequent speaker at both national and state broadcaster conventions. John practices in Womble Carlyle’s Washington, D.C., office.
