Larry Estridge, Three Other Womble Carlyle Attorneys, Spotlighted by Greenville Magazine
August 5, 2009
GREENVILLE, S.C.-The ministry's loss was the legal profession's-and Womble Carlyle's- gain.
When Larry Estridge was a teenager, he thought he might become a preacher and even filled in when the pastor of his Rock Hill church was on vacation. Instead, he opted for Harvard Law School and a career as a real estate attorney (following a two-year stint in the U.S. Army).
Estridge appears on the cover of the August 2009 edition of Greenville Magazine. The magazine profiles Greenville's three highest-ranked attorneys according to the recent Chambers USA rankings, and Estridge was named the Upstate market's top-rated attorney for real estate.
Estridge has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of real estate development and utilization law, and helped found Womble Carlyle's Greenville Office. He has been extensively involved in civic affairs, including serving in leadership roles on the Greenville Central Area Partnership, the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce, the Children's Museum of the Upstate and the Furman University Board of Trustees.
In addition, Greenville Magazine also recognized three other Womble Carlyle attorneys who were highly ranked by Chambers USA. They are Allen Grumbine and Betty Temple in Corporate/M&A and Lindsay Smith in Real Estate.
