Mike Leonard Honored by National Association of State Park Directors

Mike Leonard, a Womble Carlyle attorney, was honored for his role in North Carolina’s successful efforts to purchase Chimney Rock Park for addition to the state parks system during a special celebration Sunday, October 28.

Leonard is a national board member of The Conservation Fund and a trustee of the N.C. Natural Heritage Trust Fund, which has provided significant financial support for acquisitions at North Carolina’s newest state park, located in Hickory Nut Gorge in Rutherford County.
