Peggy Binzer Discusses Litigation Risk Management Strategies for PSO Members

PHOENIX— Womble Carlyle attorney Peggy Binzer recently talked tactics to the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC).
 
Binzer presented UHC members with strategies tactics for university hospitals that are members of a Patient Safety Organization (PSO) to reduce the potential for litigation and improve quality of care.  Thirty-seven University Health Systems attended the UHC’s Risk Management Conference in Phoenix, where Binzer delivered her remarks.
 
Peggy Binzer focuses her practice on health care policy and matters relating to the Food and Drug Administration. Before joining Womble Carlyle, Binzer served as Senior FDA Health Counsel to the Senate Budget Committee on Budget and Health, Labor and Pensions. Her clients including food companies, pharmaceutical companies, patient groups, medical device manufacturers, specialty physician groups, biofuel start-ups, biodefense companies, and hospital system. Binzer practices in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.
