Sandy Smith Discusses Entrepreneurship in Atlanta Journal-Constitution

ATLANTA—Womble Carlyle Corporate and Securities attorney Sandy Smith is quoted in a new Atlanta Journal-Constitution article on education and entrepreneurship. The article appears in the August 2nd edition of the newspaper.
Smith tells the newspaper that education is key in driving innovation, which in turn will spur the economy. “You have to have talent to have technology. Anytime you bring in highly educated, motivated people, it starts creating jobs,” he said.
The article is part of the AJC’s Atlanta Forward series, a comprehensive series of articles looking at the future of education, economic development, transportation and other key issues in the Atlanta metro area.
In addition to his work as a deal attorney, Smith is involved in numerous efforts to promote education in Atlanta.
