October 5, 2011
ATLANTA—Womble Carlyle Corporate and Securities attorney Sandy Smith was interviewed for a recent article in the E-Commerce Times on HP possibly replacing its CEO.
Smith said HP is facing significant competitive pressures, making such a major move more likely.
“It would not be a surprise to make another big change; it would certainly not be as surprising as in many companies,” Smith said.
Sandy Smith is a senior member in the Atlanta office of Womble Carlyle and chair of the Institute for Research in the Social Sciences at Stanford University.
