South Carolina Business Litigator Michael Cashman Joins Womble Carlyle

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Experienced business litigation attorney Michael Cashman has joined Womble Carlyle's Greenville office.

 

Mike has represented numerous business clients in consumer financial and insurance defense matters, as well as appellate, government contracting and general business litigation matters. He previously practiced at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough in Columbia, and at Kelly & Berens in Minneapolis, Minn. He also is a former law clerk for the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina and the Fourth Judicial District Court in Minneapolis.

Mike holds both a JD from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. A graduate of the United States Military Academy, he served in the U.S. Army as an infantry officer for several years, including tours in the Republic of Korea as an airborne/pathfinder commander and at the University of South Carolina as an Assistant Professor of Military Science. Away from the office, Mike volunteers his time with the South Carolina Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic, where he serves as a board member.
