Three Greensboro Attorneys named to the premiere Top Corporate Counsel Edition of Super Lawyers

Five Named Super Lawyers
Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC announced that three Greensboro attorneys were named to the 2008 Super Lawyers list, which is published annually by Law & Politics. The firm added four more attorneys than were listed in 2007 for a total of 72, and nine of the firm’s selected attorneys were listed in the Top 10, Top 25, Top 50 Women and Top 100 categories in their respective markets.
“We are extremely pleased that so many of our attorneys are being recognized,” said Keith Vaughan, Chair of the Firm’s Management Committee. “Receiving awards and accolades has its place and we are thankful, but we take the most pride knowing our clients and peers rate our work as highly as they do.”
Womble Carlyle’s major highlights from this year’s list include:
- 72 attorneys on the 2008 List

- 4 attorneys more than 2007
- 12 attorneys named to the premiere Corporate Counsel Edition
Super Lawyers is a listing of the top five percent of lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The 2008 list will be published by state between March and April and will be mailed to attorneys in the respective states, nationwide to the lead corporate counsel of Russell 3000 companies and to the ABA-accredited law school libraries. The premiere Corporate Counsel Edition will feature the top business litigation attorneys from across the country.
