Todd Sullivan Discusses National Trade Secrets Case with L.A. Times
December 28, 2010
Womble Carlyle attorney Todd Sullivan was interviewed by the Los Angeles Times in an article on the latest developments in the Hilton-Starwood trade secrets controversy.
Starwood accused Hilton of stealing trade secrets about its boutique hotel brand. The two sides settled last week, with Hilton agreeing to stay out of the boutique hotel market for two years.
"The settlement is basically a cry of ‘uncle,’" Sullivan told the newspaper. "Presumably, Hilton reached the conclusion that the case was virtually indefensible."
In June, Sullivan discussed the Hilton-Starwood case in a major L.A. Times article.
Todd Sullivan has a national practice focused on issues of employment agreements and employee departures. He has litigated more than 100 employee defection matters in numerous state and federal courts and arbitral forums.
