ATLANTA—Recovery Audit Contractors (RACs) are a continuing challenge to hospitals. Womble Carlyle attorney Tracy Field, who works with healthcare providers on RAC audits and other Medicare repayment issues, discussed these challenges—and how hospitals can fight RAC denials—with Becker’s Hospital Review.
