About Site Tools

Welcome to the newest evolution of WCSR.com.

In 1995, Womble Carlyle was the first North Carolina-based law firm to launch a web site. By today's standards it was pretty rudimentary, but it created a platform on which to build. Since then the building has seldom stopped. We have knocked down, reconstructed, renovated and enhanced our site numerous times to adapt both to changing technology and the dramatically increasing use and usefulness of the Internet as an effective business tool for gathering and sharing information.

What sets our newest web site update apart from past efforts is that we have concentrated our attention on improving the infrastructure of the site so we can manage content with agility and allow you, often with a single click, to find the information you need to make key business decisions.

  • If a government agency enacts a regulation or policy that will affect your business, we are now able to post insights about its ramifications as soon as the change occurs.
  • When litigation is looming and you need experience in a particular industry niche, you can search our web site quickly to identify and evaluate our strengths.
  • If you are a law student planning your future or an experienced lawyer considering a change of firms, you can click on the "Law Students Portal" or the "Lateral Attorneys Portal" in our Career Center to determine if we might be the firm for you.

Whether you are thinking of engaging or joining Womble Carlyle, we think you will learn something about our culture that will help you make the right decision. Each page of our web site features a graphic image and statement concerning our firm heritage, values and experience.

I hope you will find the journey to WCSR.com to be informative, interactive and engaging -- a destination worth bookmarking as a valuable business tool.
