Two Womble Carlyle InfoPAKs are highest read articles on corporate counsel news service

In 2010, in-house attorneys turned to Womble Carlyle in record numbers for guidance on complex legal topics.

A Womble Carlyle-written InfoPAK on Drafting and Interpreting Contracts was the Association of Corporate Counsel’s most read legal article for 2010. The article, which was written by Womble Carlyle attorneys Heather Mallard, Greg Chabon, Jennifer Avriett and Curry Gaskins, has been downloaded by 1,903 users so far.

The second-most read article? Another Womble Carlyle InfoPAK - Complying With United States Export and Sanction Laws and Regulations. To date, this article, written by Womble Carlyle attorney Jim Kearney, has been downloaded by 1,897 users.

The InfoPAKs are a user-only, password-protected service for Association of Corporate Counsel members. In-house attorneys rely on these InfoPAKs for detailed information on specific legal topics, written by attorneys with particular experience in addressing these topics.

“One of the great things about the ACC is that serves a vast membership that includes the legal departments of many Womble Carlyle clients and prospective clients that we’d also be honored to serve,” Mallard said.

“These statistics don’t just show a large readership for our articles—they show that corporate counsel trusts Womble Carlyle to deliver timely and useful content and that they acknowledge we want to help them be successful in the areas that are important to their companies,” said Chabon.

On Jan. 27th, Mallard and Chabon will present an ACC Webinar on the Drafting and Interpreting Contracts as a follow-up on the issues they discuss in the InfoPAK.
