Womble Carlyle Attorneys Make In-Person Presentations to European, Egyptian Companies

Two Womble Carlyle attorneys are racking up the frequent flier miles in an effort to keep clients informed.
Frank Monaco and Steve MacKenzie are spending nearly two weeks meeting with clients in Europe and North Africa. In particular, Monaco and MacKenzie are discussing current developments in U.S patent law and the intersection of intellectual property and oil and gas law with U.S. bankruptcy law. Their agenda includes client presentations in Cairo, Paris, Amsterdam, Munich and Zurich.
Frank Monaco is a certified bankruptcy attorney with more than 25 years of experience. His bankruptcy experience covers all matters of litigation and transactions, including involuntary petitions, avoidance actions, relief from stay proceedings, trustee motions, sale and purchase of assets, executory contracts and lease issues, post-petition financing, disclosure statements, plan confirmations and representing liquidating trustees and plan administrators in the wind-down of estates. He is a frequent speaker at bankruptcy seminars and conferences.
Steve MacKenzie is an intellectual property and patent attorney. Before becoming an attorney, MacKenzie worked as a research and new product development engineer in the energy sector. He and Monaco practice in the firm’s Wilmington, Del., office.
