Womble Carlyle Attorneys Named to Washingtonian Magazine's 2007 List of Washington's Top Attorneys

D.C. Lawyers honored for their Real Estate, Government Relations & Bankruptcy work

Washingtonian magazine named four Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC attorneys to its 2007 Top Washington Lawyers list. Attorneys Jeffrey Tarkenton (Bankruptcy), Lawrence Norton (Government Relations), John Hagner (Real Estate) and Kenneth Logwood (Real Estate) were recognized in Washingtonian's December issue.

The 800-lawyer list represents Washington, D.C.'s top 1 percent across 28 legal specialties. More than 1,000 area attorneys were asked who they would hire to represent themselves, and the results were published as the fifth edition of the now annual list.

Womble Carlyle attorneys listed include: 

  • Jeffrey Tarkenton – named among the elite bankruptcy lawyers 
  • Lawrence Norton – recognized as a top counselor on government regulation of political activity
