Womble Carlyle Host Star-Studded Mixer at Peachtree Village International Film Festival

ATLANTA—The stars of Hollywood lit up Atlanta at the Peachtree Village International Film Festival, and Womble Carlyle was pleased to be a part of the festivities.
The firm’s Atlanta office held an August 19th mixer in conjunction with the film festival, hosted by attorney Bernard Coleman, leader of the firm’s Sports & Entertainment Group.
Guests at the event included director/producer/ actor Mario Van Peebles. The Peachtree Village Film Festival included a 20th anniversary celebration of Van Peebles’ landmark film New Jack City.
Also in attendance were actors Bill Cobbs (“The Drew Carey Show,” “I’ll Fly Away,” The Color of Money), Clifton Powell (Ray and The Gospel) and Bill Nunn (Do the Right Thing, Sister Act, Lockdown).
Guests were encouraged to make a donation to support The Make It Happen Foundation Domestic Violence Prevention Initiative.
