Womble Carlyle Observes National Pro Bono Celebration

This week is the American Bar Association’s National Pro Bono Celebration — and Womble Carlyle and the Bar Associations in every state in which Womble Carlyle practices are proud to participate.
North Carolina Gov. Beverly Perdue gave her official backing to the North Carolina Bar Association’s pro bono efforts by proclaiming Oct. 25-31 as “Pro Bono Week” in the state.
Womble Carlyle Pro Bono Director Tripp Greason introduced the Governor’s proclamation, which was presented at the fall meeting of the NCBA Board of Governors, which was held in Boone, N.C. Greason chairs the NCBA’s Public Service Advisory Committee.
Womble Carlyle attorneys contribute thousands of hours annually to a wide range of pro bono activities, and pro bono service is actively encouraged by the firm.
