Womble Carlyle’s Charles Holton Named to Leadership Role in Legal Aid of N.C.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.—Womble Carlyle attorney Charles Holton recently was elected to serve as the Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect for the Board of Directors of Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc.
Holton will serve a two-year term in the Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect seat before becoming Chair for a two-year term beginning in 2013. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the past two years.
Charles Holton has more than 30 years of experience as a litigator and focuses his practice on handling sophisticated healthcare litigation matters, including products liability defense involving pharmaceutical products and medical devices, and medical malpractice defense for major medical centers. He is also experienced in handling complex construction litigation and arbitration matters, as well as construction contracting. Holton practices in Womble Carlyle’s Research Triangle Park office.
