Beth Tyner Jones to Chair Baptist Retirement Homes Board

RALEIGH, N.C.—Womble Carlyle attorney Beth Tyner Jones has been elected the Chair of the Board of Directors of Baptist Retirement Homes of North Carolina.
Baptist Retirement Homes of North Carolina is a not-for-profit, church-affiliated organization that provides long-term care to the elderly. The organization operates four residential and health care facilities throughout the state—in Albemarle, Asheville, Concord and Winston-Salem.
Jones is currently serving her third four-year term on the Board of Directors. She was elected to a one-year term as Board Chair.
“In the upcoming year, we will be looking at ways to expand the ministry beyond our four facilities,” Jones said. “We want to find additional ways to bring our services to meet the needs of people throughout North Carolina in creative ways.”
Jones is a labor and employment attorney with more than 20 years of experience, with particular expertise in assisting colleges and universities with employment-related legal issues. She is a frequent speaker and author on labor and employment-related topics, particularly those pertaining to institutions of higher learning. She practices in Womble Carlyle’s Raleigh office.
