WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.—Randal S. “Randy” Baringer, a product liability litigation attorney with nearly 20 years of experience, has joined Womble Carlyle.

Baringer comes to Womble Carlyle’s Winston-Salem office from National City Corporation, where he served as Vice President and Senior Attorney. He previously spent two decades practicing product liability litigation law at Jones Day in Cleveland, where he was a partner.

“Product liability litigation defense is a point of emphasis for Womble Carlyle, as more than 80 attorneys firm-wide practice in this field,” said Keith Clinard, leader of the firm’s Product Liability Litigation Team. “Randy has litigated a number of high-profile product liability cases, and is a welcome addition to our team.”

Baringer is a graduate of Youngstown State University and the Ohio State University School of Law. He also served three years in the U.S. Army.
