Financial Services Attorney Colgate Selden Joins Womble Carlyle's D.C. Office

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Capital Markets attorney R. Colgate Selden has joined Womble Carlyle’s Washington, D.C. office.
Selden will be a member of the firm’s Regulatory Compliance and Consumer Credit Practice Team where he will continue counseling financial services clients on state and federal regulatory compliance issues. His experience includes assisting clients with Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), state and federal licensing and approvals, federal preemption, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Dept Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act (HOEPA) matters. Selden’s clients include mortgage companies, home builders, insurers, federal and state chartered banks, credit unions, bank holding companies, investment banks, investment funds, private equity, finance companies, debt collection companies and various related service providers.
