ATLANTA—For 14 seasons, Deion Sanders electrified crowds like no other defensive back in NFL history. Now, Womble Carlyle is proud to honor Atlanta’s own “Prime Time” as he takes his place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2011.
 

Womble Carlyle is a sponsor of the Prime Time Black & Red Gala Celebration, to be held July 16^th at the 200 Peachtree Street.   The charity event is being produced by Foxx Entertainment Group, Inc. and will celebrate—in grand fashion—Sanders’ enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Proceeds will benefit Prime Time Association Sports, a non-profit organization established by Deion and Pilar Sanders to assist youth through education, athletics and personal development.

Dozens of A-list celebrities are expected to be in attendance at the Gala Celebration to honor “Prime Time,” including such stars as Steve Harvey, Chipper Jones, Cam Newton, Julius “Dr. J” Erving and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.

During his illustrious football career, Sanders was an eight-time Pro Bowl selection and won two Super Bowl rings. The two-sport star also played eight years of Major League Baseball, most notably for the Atlanta Braves. Sanders parlayed his success on both fields into success in the broadcasting and entertainment industry, becoming a commercial spokesman, recording artist and television host. Currently, he is a studio analyst on the NFL Network.
