Womble Carlyle Named a Sponsor of the Year by Association of Corporate Counsel

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC, has been named a 2009 Sponsor of the Year by the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC).
Womble Carlyle won the award, which was presented at the ACC’s Annual Meeting in Boston this weekend, for its continued sponsorship of the ACC New to In-House Committee. This is the second consecutive year that the firm has been recognized as a Sponsor of the Year Award winner. The law firm Jackson Lewis was also named a Sponsor of Year.
"We are proud of our association with the ACC, which has proven mutually beneficial," said attorney Press Millen, Chair of Womble Carlyle’s Client Development Committee. "Many of our clients are ACC members and our work with the ACC helps us better serve our clients."
Womble Carlyle’s work with the committee included editorial contributions, webinar presentations, legal resources development, event coordination, membership development, and marketing and publicity outreach. In addition to its committee sponsorship, Womble Carlyle has worked closely alongside the ACC for its law firm Value Challenge. The Value Challenge is a national initiative that aims to better align in-house counsel and the law firms that serve them.
