Womble Carlyle attorney Diane Fuchs has been named to a prestigious list of the nation's top corporate attorneys.

Fuchs was recognized as a Top Lawyer by Corporate Counsel magazine. The Top Lawyers list was published in the December 2007 issue.

"It is a tremendous honor to be recognized by experts in this field," Fuchs said. "Throughout my career, my approach has been to represent my clients’ interests to the best of my abilities."

Fuchs has nearly three decades of experience in advising corporate clients on executive compensation and employee benefits matters. Her long list of professional activities includes serving as President of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel and Chair of Lex Mundi's Employee Benefits and Pension Practice Group. She also is on the board and currently is Treasurer of the ABA Retirement Funds, a corporation affiliated with the American Bar Association that provides retirement plans and retirement investment vehicles to law firms and their employees.

Fuchs has been selected to Woodward/White Inc.'s The Best Lawyers in America rankings each of the last four years and was named to the list of the District of Columbia Region's Super Lawyers in 2007.
