Womble Carlyle’s Sam Outten Named South Carolina Representative to DRI

GREENVILLE, S.C.—Womble Carlyle attorney Sam Outten has been elected by the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association (SCDTAA) to serve as its state representative to DRI, the Voice of the Defense Bar. DRI is the largest international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation.

Mr. Outten is a partner in the Business Litigation Practice Group. He has been trying cases in South Carolina for almost 25 years and has been involved in a wide variety of litigation matters, including product liability cases, commercial litigation matters and the defense of professional negligence claims. During his career, he has tried more than 60 cases to a jury verdict.
