Allen Gibson
Allen Gibson, the head of the practice group, is a Fellow in the American College of Construction Lawyers, the first attorney from South Carolina so honored. Mr. Gibson is also on the Panel of Arbitrators and is a Mediator for the American Arbitration Association. He is a past Chair of the American Bar Association's Forum on the Construction Industry. Mr. Gibson is a member of the Fidelity and Surety Committee of the Torts and Insurance Practice Section of the ABA and the Construction Litigation Committee of the Litigation Section. Chuck Baker
Chuck Baker has extensive experience in construction litigation relating to water intrusion and other alleged building defects. He is currently lead lawyer in the firm's representation of Dryvit Systems, Inc. and Sto Corp., two of the nation's biggest manufacturers and sellers of exterior insulation and finish systems (commonly called synthetic stucco). Karen Carey
Karen Carey advises commercial, industrial, institutional and governmental clients on construction matters. Ken Michael
Ken Michael is both an attorney and a registered architect. Prior to attending law school, he practiced as a registered architect and intern architect for more than eight years in Florida and Texas. During those years, he was involved in all architectural phases of a variety of commercial, governmental, institutional, health care and residential projects.
